This Harper’s Weekly cover cartoon jokes that Democratic presidential nominee William Jennings Bryan’s own windiness is the reason why he is unable to capture votes in 1908. The butterfly net theme was previously used in a Judge cartoon lampooning the 1892 campaign of Democrat Grover Cleveland.
