A sequel to “Weighing Them In,” this cartoon suggests that William Jennings Bryan’s real aim may not be in finding someone else who would make the best Democratic presidential candidate in 1912, but in winning the nomination himself. He was previously nominated and lost the general election in 1896, 1900, and 1908. Here, Miss Democracy looks thankfully pleased as Bryan outweighs all the other potential candidates put together.
