Complete HarpWeek Explanation:
A campaign banner almost identical to the "Grant National Union Banner" except for the inclusion of portraits of Democratic nominees George B. McClellan and George H. Pendleton, two additional flags above the portraits, and a vignette below of a busy harbor near a shore crowded with signs of prosperity, including factories, a railroad, and a hay wagon. Also introduced in this version are clasped hands below the portraits.
